Char :) | 111 comments I would prefer fantasy books with romance in them!! The romance doesn't need to be the main focus, and I would actually prefer if the plot came first, but I still want a couple(s) I can ship and they have a happily ever after!!

Jabotikaba | 502 comments You might like the Twin Crowns trilogy by Catherine Doyle and Katherine Webber. It's about two witch sisters. It's marketed as a romance, but actually the romance elements are not very significant and not very important to the story. This book is more about coming of age and sisterhood. However, each sister has her own romantic story, so there are two couples here.

Soft Nectarine ~ | 487 comments Night of the Witch by Sara Raasch and Beth Revis (romantasy duology set in Germany, witch hunts)

A Discovery of Witches ~ All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness (urban romantasy, vampires/witches/demons, also a TV series)

Hayley★ | 2 comments I just finished Cackle by Rachel Harrison, and it instantly became one of my favorites! Not so much romance, but It has such a cozy/cute/fun vibe which led me on a hunt for similar books. Just found The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, and am loving it too! There's hints that there might be a romance between some characters, but I haven't gotten that far yet. Definitely recommend both of these though 🖤✨

message 20: by rachael (new)

rachael | 8 comments The Serpent & Dove trilogy by Shelby Mahurin. It's an enemies-to-lovers romance between a witch and a witch hunter. One of my favorite books/series of all time.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

I suggest Cursing up a Storm by Samantha Silver. It is a series but it's really good and has romance, murder and suspense. It has witches in it and humans.

Roz | 8 comments Kasssss wrote: "The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw is really nice and it has like 200 pages"

Yesss I was literally going to suggest this! Winterwood and A Wilderness of Stars by Shea Ernshaw are also very whimsical/witchy!!!

message 23: by abbie (new)

abbie | 12 comments macbeth !!!

message 24: by Venus (new)

Venus | 40 comments I'd say "Little big" by John Crowley. It is a really lovely book that could be defined as classic, it feels like a fever dream! Little Big mixes Shakespeare, Lewis Carroll, Persian folklore and lots more. The family who's protagonist is basically made of witches or in general people in touch with the unseen. It's also a cute romance!!
Really cool if u like tarots and astrology!

Hannahhh ;) [free palestine] (hannahhhfreepalestine) | 592 comments Serpent and dove, the crimson moth, her majesty’s royal coven

message 28: by Sav (new)

Sav | 1 comments I have three 5 star reads! Three spicy at least and perfect slow burn
-Bewitched and Bespelled duology (easy to read, I ate them for breakfast lunch and dinner)
-Anathema by Keri Lake (my favorite book of 2024, the writing is at a higher level so it took me longer to finish) I’ll probably audiobook Keri Lakes other books

message 32: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Abbott | 2 comments not sure if this was said already, but Anathema and Phantasma (separate series, not in the same one) have very witchy/dark academia vibes to them! mild on the spicy scenes but just enough to leave you wanting more story wise and romance wise :)

♓︎ Pisces Pony Club ♓︎ | 19 comments I second Night of the Witch, I loved the pace. Have not read the 2nd book yet but plan too!

message 34: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea Clarke | 52 comments I have only read the first book in the series but paybacks a witch is a good romantasy book about witches. The series is called the witches of thistle grove and there is about 5-6 in the series
