Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments It's time to set your 2025 goal!

How many books are you challenging yourself to read this year? Create your own discussion topic and tell us what your goal is. Then, throughout the year, track your progress.

How to create your discussion topic for your challenge:
1. Decide how many books you would like to read.

2. Go to the appropriate folder:
1-25 books
26-50 books
51-75 books
76-100 books
101+ books

3. Click "new topic" near the top of the page.

4. In the "topic" box, write the name of your topic. We encourage you to come up with an original title, but it should have both your name and the number of books you plan to read.
5. In the comment box, write your first post, and click “post”
6. Bookmark the topic in your browser!

And you're all set! Post here if you have any questions.

Good luck to all!

Jane (enaje) | 12 comments I tried to go to the appropriate folder for setting my reading goal and it said “Not Found” no matter which folder I tried to go to. How do I set my goal for 2025?

Ian Mcnamara | 65 comments Hello all, this is Ian, i've just set my challange, so how does this work now it's set. does it work the same as a reading challange on the main site where it keeps track of what books you read and how many? or now do I have to add a post for every book to say what i've read? Just want to get clear on how this works before starting to add books.

Hi Jane,
I'm not entirely sure why you're encountering that issue. Are you on your phone or using the browser?
You can try going through the group home page, and scrolling down until you see the corresponding personal threads folder. Alternatively, send me a message if that doesn't work and I'll send you a link.

I hope this helps. 😊

Welcome Ian,
You do have to update everything yourself 😊. I encourage you to have a look around and see how other members set their threads and corners up, and then do whatever works best for you. You can use both spaces, or one or the other, and as little or as much as you want.

Personally, I use my personal thread to keep a log of the books I read throughout the year, and have conversations with other members, and whatnot, and my corner to keep track of the challenges I join.

I hope this helps answer your question.
Happy reading!

Kym Can we not edit our comments within the challenge topic?

Blagica | 12941 comments once you post a comment you should see edit. Are you asking for your personal thread or a yearly, monthly, or quarterly?

message 9: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments I just want to add that you can only use the edit function from the browser, not the app, Kym.

Kym ok thank you. I'll try through the browser on my laptop. the browser on my phone does not have it.
