Review: This was a cute book and I enjoyed reading it. It’s definitely more geared to older children/YA, but that didn’t bother me much. I just had to remind myself at times when things felt a little juvenile that it was written to be exactly that and meant to be geared towards the YA crowd. The story itself was adventurous and compelling, and overall kept my attention pretty well. It started out slow and I’d say the first 40% of the book I kept thinking it would be a 2 star read for me- but as it picked up in the second half of the book, I really began to enjoy it as it picked up pace. I will probably read the next 2 in The Flight and Flame Trilogy as I’m curious now how the rest of the story will unfold, and then will likely pass them on to my 15 year old stepson as I think he might enjoy them, as well. Overall well-written, good storyline, interesting and entertaining characters, and I’m glad I gave this one a chance, especially as someone not familiar with fantasy. ❤️

I don't use an ipad, but I use the app on my iphone, and you can't reply directly. You need to use the website to have that option.

Yeah like Sharon said, you can only reply directly if you’re on the website. The app doesn’t offer that option.
