6. Nature is a theme in this book because it focuses a lot on penguins and their habitat. Parts of it are set on the Falkland Islands and an island off the coast of Australia. There are descriptions of the islands and lots of information about penguins.

More penguins. :) Thanks to you, I read the wonderful book How the Penguins Saved Veronica. They are fascinating birds.

Peggy, Margo & I decided we needed a new fantasy buddy read. It's been awhile since we did Realm of the Underlings. We're going to read Nolyn starting March 8th if you're interested. I noticed you like Michael J Sullivan earlier, so I've been thinking of you.

Thanks for thinking of me, that's really kind :) Michael J Sullivan is one of my favourite fantasy authors but I read Nolyn and the rest of the series not so long ago. I'm sure you're both going to enjoy it!

It was a 5 star book for me. If I had read it on paper it might have been 4, but the narration just lifted it to the next level. I hope you'll enjoy it just as much!

Do you have Spotify? I listened it for free (included in my premium membership) on there.

no, no Spotify unfortunately. I'll have to look into it. People in my irl book club use it, but they have kids- don't know if it'd be worth it just for me.

Just so you know, only 12 hours of listening time to audiobooks per month are included (at least over here in my membership). Came as a surprise to me, lol. If you want more, you have to pay for it.

If you want a subscription somewhere *just* for audiobooks, I'm sure there are better options.

I did! I hah heard of the book but it never appealed to me because I really dislike talking animals (in books and also in movies) and this felt like it would be in the same category. But I had no idea what else to read and the reviews were good, so I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! :D
