I am in need of reviews for my recently published split-time, literary fiction novel, Kicking the Embers. Here is the back cover blurb:


Sam doesn’t think he has another bestseller in him. So when a Vietnamese War veteran offers him a ton of money to write his story, Sam thinks he’s found the answer to his creative and financial problems.

Mr. Lan turns out to be a die-hard communist with reparations on his mind for the “lies” told in Sam’s first book.

Having sold his creative soul, Sam finds himself working with an adversary who has very different ideas about how history should be told.

Kicking the Embers asks questions of authorship and authenticity, of purpose and identity; and whether a hipster really can find the answers in a Coen Brother’s classic.
