I’ve been trying to remember the name of a book I read years ago. Like 2014 or before. It’s in an earlier time period maybe Louisiana. There’s a swamp/bog that they are supposed to stay out of because of it being kinda dangerous in a supernatural sense. And she did get snatched by something in the bog. If I remember correctly. There may be witches of some sort. The main character is a teen girl. I think there was a familiar in it. If I remember correctly. If anyone thinks they may know what book this is I’d be so grateful!

I could say Court of Thorn and Roses by Sarah J Mass, but it was published in 2015. I think it starts with something like this. The girl gets pulled into another realm, where Fae live.
