Seeing your list reminded me a new Dept Q book has recently been released. We both love that series.
Oh and thank you for your spot-on recommendation to read Ketanji Brown Jackson’s memoir, Lovely One. It was unputdownable- and at 18.5 hours was a joy to listen to this past week. *I have an Amazon Prime music subscription and the new benefit of one free audible audiobook a month was a terrific way to access it.

Yes Dan, the TV series starring Jeff Bridges is based on this book. Now I can watch it; wanted to read the book first.

I have to get caught up on the Department Q series also. Wish I'd seen this earlier, would have used my expiring Audible pick on this. As it was I used it for the next in the Joona Linna series, so almost as good!

The Nora Roberts book I am looking forward to is The Mirror. It is book two in The Lost Brides trilogy. Book one Inheritance was very good.

I cannot keep up with Nora Roberts but maybe I'll look up the Lost Brides trilogy. The Search wet my appetite.

I grabbed the second Lost Brides book as my 'free' Amazon music audible book for December. It is in my listen queue on the Audible app until I finish it.
Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can listen to one audiobook at a time. Each month, you can continue to listen to the same title or select a new one. If you have a monthly plan, you can select a new title starting the day your subscription renews. For example, if your subscription renews on the 15th of the month, you will be able to select a new audiobook on the 15th of each subsequent month. With an annual plan, customers can select a new title starting the same date each month of your initial subscription date.

Swedish police detective Joona Linna is on the hunt for a killer copying the method of a serial killer he jailed. A junior officer is placed in the mental facility where he is housed to get close and figure out if there is a connection. What could go wrong? Top notch writing and complex storylines by Kepler kept me on the edge of my seat.
The Old Man. Thomas Perry. 4/5
A former military man who is in hiding comes close to being unearthed by his own government, and has to go on the run. This was fast paced and reminiscent of the Jane Whitefield series, with similar escape skills and strategies brought to bear.
Keep Your Family Close. Annette Dashofy. 4/5
This sequel to Where the Guilty Hide features again police detective Mathias Honeywell and Emma Anderson. Emma’s sister has surfaced but appears to be connected to a murder, and Emma has to keep her hidden and away from the police while she figures out the cause. A good comfort read.
The Search. Nora Roberts. Read by Tanya Eby. 4/5
Another copycat killer plot. A canine search and rescue leader is put on notice that a copycat killer of the crime from which she barely escaped is on the loose in Washington State. The newly moved in woodworking hunk comes to her to get training for his new puppy, and, well, gets a whole lot more. Interesting dive into the canine search and rescue operation as well as the principles of dog training. Engaging suspenseful mystery was well plotted and kept me hooked.
