SciFi and Fantasy Book Club discussion

This is just a formal announcement regarding how SFFBC has expanded.

1. There is the SFFBC book club here on Goodreads.

2. We have an SFFBC server in Discord. You can find the link to join and other information HERE

3. We also have occasional VBC (Virtual Book Club) discussions via Zoom. You can join the discussion HERE

4. And most recently, we've started a sister SFFBC book club over on The StoryGraph. You can learn more HERE

So that you all know, ONE club means reading the same books as group picks. One science fiction book and one fantasy book each month. All iterations of SFFBC will share the same reading list, even if discussions are taking place separately.

This is all just to say we're here, and we're there too. So come join us in all the ways that benefit you.

Please note that this may impact polls. On TSG, polls can only run for 1 week and contain max 4 books. This month we tried an initial TSG poll, followed by an "official TSG" poll that closed at roughly the same time as the GR poll.

Going forward, our next experiment will be to take the 4 lead books from the GR poll at the end of the first week and open them as the poll on TSG that closes at the same time as the GR poll.

Then we will take the votes from both sites, add them together, and the book with the most cumulative votes will be the book of the month.

This may be in flux. TSG is still growing and changing, and we will do our best to be transparent and forthcoming about what that looks like.
