Can anyone give me some insight on the plated prisoner series? Ive heard its amazing so I bought the first book but I'm struggling to get into it :( Any help is greatly appreciated!!

OK....so it does get better. The plot/storyline heats up book #2. I promise you should stick with it because the MMC (Slade) is definitely a top tier "shadow daddy" {if that is your thing}. And FMC (Auren) finally becomes less annoying later on, once she grows a backbone.

I have a terrible habit of pushing through series even when they get slow, but I promise this one has a payoff if you stick it out.

I'm through book #4. Took a break from the series to read of few others from my TBR but picking it back up in January 2025.

Unfortunately it peaks around book 3 or 4 and then goes downhill 😭

they just get better and better. I'm on the fourth one now and I was just like you at the beginning but by the end of book #1 I was hooked. And let me just say the third one was mind blowing!! Def give it a chance

Just finished the fourth one and really loved it. The first one is the most simplistic but two was good and three and four were really good.
