Carolyn | 2081 comments What the Night Brings (DI Tom Thorne Series, #19) by Mark Billingham What the Night Brings by Mark Billingham. Although I very much enjoy the author's Declan Miller mystery series this is the first in his Tom Thorne series that I've read - now I have 18 previous episodes to catch up with.

PattyMacDotComma | 813 comments Popular Aussie author Michael Robotham doesn't write Aussie mysteries (yet...) and he doesn't write cosies, either. But he does write some great English thrillers about people I've grown fond of. Close Your Eyes is the next-to-the-last in this series, and I'm not at all happy about where he's left Professor Joe O'Loughlin this time.
