PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments I recently re-read a favourite first book in a series for a group read - it was a nice excuse to revisit Sebastian St Cyr, Viscount Devlin, in London in 1811. He's accused of murder, so while dodging the police, he puts his army intelligence experience to good use to find the villain and save himself.

Perfect blend of history and mystery.

Carolyn | 9841 comments I was a bit disappointed that I didn't find A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna as delightful and enjoyable as her previous novel The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, but I seem to be an outlier as it's getting plenty of 5★ reviews, so do check those out too.
