Never thought I'd be an outlier for this historical fiction. :(

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments Alibis is a mixed bag of six crime short stories, but none rate lower than 3★s, and a few very good stories average it out at 4★s

The Teacher of Auschwitz by Wendy Holden
Sounds like yet another typical WWII fiction with 'Auschwitz' in the title, but this one is surprisingly well handled.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments I'm very late to the party with Robert Galbraith's Cormoran Strike series, but now I've started. 5★s for The Cuckoo's Calling.

PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments I'm a hundred years late to the party! For a challenge, I chose some books I'd always meant to read, and Virginia Woolf's famous Mrs Dalloway filled one slot. I enjoyed her snarky tone about the elites of the day and her sympathetic insight into other. less-privileged characters.
Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf My review of Mrs. Dalloway

This is the hundredth anniversary of the book, so there are articles and reviews popping up here and there.
