Carolyn | 9840 comments Heal the Beasts A Jaunt Through the Curious History of the Veterinary Arts by Philipp Schott Heal the Beasts: A Jaunt Through the Curious History of the Veterinary Arts by Philipp Schott is an enjoyable trip through the ages, illustrating the development of veterinary practices. Written in an informal, conversational style with a touch of humour.

Not sure why it shows 3x, Brenda, I did read the print and listen to the audio.

Carolyn | 9840 comments Fulfillment by Lee Cole Fulfillment by Lee Cole is a literary, character driven novel about three young people with different desires and dreams looking for fulfilment in contemporary America.
*Note: the author does not use speech marks in this novel.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments Marianne Cronin's second novel, Eddie Winston Is Looking for Love is the best feel-good novel I've read all year, and the audio narration is perfect. 5★s

Such a beautiful book, which shouldn't be a surprise considering who the author is. Much recommended despite the dragged ending.

Carolyn | 9840 comments I listened to the audiobook of The Unraveling of Julia by Lisa Scottoline The Unraveling of Julia by Lisa Scottoline. It was an okay mystery with lots of wild happenings that were eventually explained at the end. Not the best book I've read/heard from this author. The setting in Italy was well done.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9976 comments The Honey Pot Plot: Rocky Start, Book 3 by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer, the perfect conclusion to a hugely entertaining trilogy, is best experienced in audio narrated by Cris Dukehart and Eric G. Dove.

The Ex-Wives Club (Alibis Collection, #2) by Sally Hepworth
The second story of the Alibis collection works much better a a domestic suspense than as a thriller. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

My bad July run continues with this disaster of a read. It had such potential! But the writing and editing did no favours to the book.
