PattyMacDotComma | 3299 comments Neil Gaiman has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons (for him, that is), and Goodreads disallowed posting of this review for a couple of weeks. Presumably the trolling (or whatever) has died down, because I was able to post it today.
Coraline by Neil Gaiman Coraline is a bright, inquisitive young girl living in a house that has another magical half with what appears to be another family - hers?! Spooky story for kids and an enjoyable read for adults.

My review of "Coraline" is here:

Carolyn | 9840 comments Murder at the Spring Ball (Lord Edgington Investigates, #1) by Benedict Brown Murder at the Spring Ball by Benedict Brown is first in a series set in the 1920s, featuring retired Scotland Yard Superintendent, Lord Edgington. A quick, light, cosy mystery.

Manga Classics Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1 A Study in Scarlet (Manga Classics Sherlock Holmes) by Arthur Conan Doyle
Sherlock and Watson simply don't look like they are supposed to in this manga version of Sherlock's first novel. But the rest is excellent.

Carolyn | 9840 comments I don't read a lot of rural romance but I really enjoyed Spring Clean for the Peach Queen by Sasha Wasley Spring Clean for the Peach Queen by Sasha Wasley. Well written with great characters and an interesting plot with a light touch of romance.
