Ok, so I'll begin ... first of all what's up with those two lazy ah rat-like sister of Feyre, I hate them sm like you don't need new boots, how about you find a husband insted Nesta, ugh I'm disgusted. Next, Feyre she's one of my fav characters ever and what she's doing for her family (who is totally uninstrested in her). She's kind and smart and she kinda reminds me of Katniss Everdeen iykyk. Tamlin ... Prince Charming from Shrek, I can't picture him other way (imidiatelly after they said golden hair I was like AHH PRINCE CHARMING FROM SHREK) Morally grey character in my opinion but the way he went like "Want a house tour?" I kicked and screamed and yelled out YES. Okay, now hear me out Lucien needs to get his ego down cuz like girl ur not pretty or anything and u have long hair (not my type at all)
But like I love and adore the storyline and the spicy mention abt one of her interests from village (Isaac) I was like 🫢 oop. I need to google some fanarts of the characters or else I will die after "Prince Charming" will be one of Feyre's love interests ... I need to know how he looks like fr
Idk if y'all have seen The Witcher (books/series on Netflix) Tamlin looks like the main character and actor Henry Cavill (look them up)
First off, Henry Cavill is a man among men and he's def a contender for the role of Tamlin should it ever be turned into a film.Now for my review on the book so far:
First thought that crossed my mind was an animation I watched years ago about a human boy falling for a faerie and moving into their world, it's called Throne of elves. Feyre gave me such vibes of the ML in the animation. I love the girl and fear the parts where apparently people start disliking because rn I'm absolutely worshipping the girl for a resilience!!!!✋🏻 I strongly dislike Nesta and couldn't be bothered with Elaine because why the F should I when they don't???? Don't even get me started on the dad like dude stop dragging your ass and letting your YOUNGEST daughter fend for your OWN family🌝 Douchebag dad. The way Nesta has the audacity to judge Fey as if any of this is her fault when she's solely responsible for her family still being alive -- even though it's pretty much through a wound but still!!!! Ungrateful is an understatement. Also, I agree Klaris, Fey definitely give Katniss vibes!!!
Tamlin, Tamlin, Tamlin 😭😭😭🥹 I'm in love because heck, what do I do with how he spared Fey and never once (imo) gave off massive vicious energy even after she admitted to guilt with Andras. Lucien seems like another douche thirsting for blood in vengeance but I can't help the HEAR ME OUT chanting in the back of my head✋🏻✋🏻✋🏻 They're handsome Faerie so spare me ladies 😭 Girl, I kicked and screamed with you because HELLO, whothis duve gentleman!!!💯 I love the storyline as well so far and it might just be me but I tagged a number of phrases and stuff I thought either foreshadowed later scenes or are of importance. It's a 4/5 🌟 rating so far!!
Also, did any of you feel like the story about the friend's cousin from the Children of the Blessed who married a High Fae will have some sort or importance or role in the later stages? I feel like it will and also those flower paintings Fey made on Elaine, Nesta, and her drawer are some sort of foreshadowing? Especially the part where Feyre's own is dark cloudy thingies on a starry night?😭 I feel like it's foreshadowing at a certain High Fae Lord of the night or am I just clutching at straws here? 😭😭
Girl like frrrr ... I was like WAIT THEY DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE I LOVE YOU. Tamlin is the greenest flag on this earth plus he gives off this overprotective boyfriend energy (how be talking abt a full grown man ... I'm a minor)

I'll start again ... TAMLIN no words needed (I'll probably get upset with him later I'm guessing) he's like so caring, Feyre's and his relationship is giving like Beauty and A Beast energy cuz like his "study" aka his big-ass library, I can't and yk what was the screaming and kicking and literally heart-melting moment?? The night when Tamlin came home all tired and injured and Feyre tried to help him with his arm ... AJFJJEPAPQJRB KLAKSJCJFJ I literally can't from that scene. And I start to like Lucien a bit more cuz like the way he takes her with him and this moment when the Bogge was surrounding them, overprotective boyfriend vibes for sure. I love Feyre's interest in art (idk why she didn't want to fraw or paint yet) and the garden I absolutely want that right now like where's my bloodsucking demon. There is few things I want to say ... when I stay up late to read a book, it has to be one of the most fav books and this one became one of my favs (I was reading until my mom came and took the book away so I could sleep lmao) And the way she still thinks abt her family, I could never ... even if I made a dumb promise to my mom who didn't even tried to care for me.
Girl, AGREED!!! I could never keep with a promise like that especially one made to someone who could care less about me, like WTH!!!!!!!! Although, I kinda feel like by remembering her mom's promise, it's some sort of way to ground her thoughts from panicking that "OMG, I was practically kidnapped into Prythian" and yeah, for her own sanity or some sort false delusion into that her family cares. Those b$tches probs forget all about her already, wouldn't put it past Nesta. Tamlin is such A DREAM!!!!✋🏻 Man had me when he was "I'm sorry for your loss" to Feyre over losing her mom!!! Askdjfdddddddeklfeddwqq!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭 I hate the parts where I'm apparently going to dislike Tamlin in favour for Rhysand but I'm always gonna cherish these moments where he's being an absolute prince of a man. GIRL!!!!!!!!!✋🏻 I told you Lucien was kinda winning over with those first 7 chapters and now, I'm 80% team Lucien!!!✋🏻 The night Feyre helped Tamlin had me swooning because, HELLO MOM AND DAD ACTING ALL LOVEY DOVEY!!!!!😭
I'm low-key kinda getting pissed at Fey for constantly saying "oh, my painting skill could never do this justice"🌝 Girl, don't you dare be modest when you know well you can paint better than my mediocre painter a$$🌝 Also, can she just listen to the warnings for once and stop being so inquistive with the wrong people at the wrong place and time!!!!!!!!!!!!😭 She's making me nervous!!!

Phew, been looking for this thread like crazy 😅 Sorry I haven't been on here guys, been a busy few days and I had no internet connection. I've only managed to read till chapter 20.Anyways here's my review:
I've been experiencing so many emotions reading these past few pages and I don't know where to start because my thoughts are a JUMBLE!!!
I'll tell you this much, that Tilt ok sound "Who is SHE?" has been playing on repeat in my brain for every page I read. Like honestly, who is this SHE that nobody dares to speak of?!!✋🏻 Is she possibly the human who married a High Fae Lord because she'd have lots of motive imo but the timeline just doesn't make sense if she is. Or, could the SHE be the one who killed off Tamlin's family? It'd would explain why Tamlin hasn't felt the severity of the blight as much as the other courts esp since this SHE was the one who spared Tamlin when she eradicated his family. Why did SHE spare Tamlin and why is this SHE causing so much havoc in Prythian????
I was gushing the living daylights out of my skin (that makes no sense but whatev's) when:
1) Tamlin wrote those 5 limerick poems for Feyre. Each containing two of the words on the 2nd and 4th lines. My man's knew those words by HEART and made such a heartfelt gesture!!!!
2) The little moment and Feyre's first kiss (not on the lips mind you) from Tamlin when they were at the starlight lake🥹🥹🥹 I'm blushing 🤭
3) Tamlin reopening the gallery for Fey and getting her art supplies!!!!! He was like "Paint wherever you want, THIS PLACE IS TOO CLEAN ANYWAY" I'm HOWLING !!!!!!! I'm getting a feel of his love language 🥹
4) When he ran to her rescue with the Suriel and naga?! I'm sorry but HELLO!!!!!!!!!!
5) The way Tamlin is so understanding of Feyre's emotions and need to make her feel about leaving her family. If only she knew how wasted her emotions were on her family members.

I felt so bad for that Fae who lost his wings because SHE took them😭😭😭 Omg, I would have made empty promises too if only it dimmed his suffering before the whisper of death locked on 😭 Another person I feel incredibly bad for is Lucien!!!!!! I'm not about to excuse his behaviour towards Fey but, it helps me understand his character even more and why losing Andras was a bad hit on him than Tam. Dude lost everything and I just can't comprehend how having lost as many people and things as he did didn't commence his villain era✋🏻😭 I feel really bad for Lucien and hope there's some good in his future!
I'll comment on the Calanmai (I keep pronouncing it as Calamari as my own inside joke 😅) on my next review because I just started it. So far though, I'm not liking it because Feyre about to do something ABSOLUTELY STUPID!!!!! I miss the days when I admired her for how strong-willed and smart she was until Maas decided Feyre needs to start making dumb decisions and annoying the readers😭
Before I go, can I just say that I loved that moment Tamlin, Feyre and Lucien had sprawled on the grass 🥹🥹 I especially loved it when Lucien gifted Feyre the jeweled knife!!!
Omgg yes, I totally agree with you girlie ... I had so many emotions inside me while reading those parts like gurl if my man killed and rescued me imma be like when's the wedding. And I'm so very annoyed how they do not dare to even say HER name and I felt absolutely horrible for the faerie that SHE stolen the wings from, like girl ... oh and those scenes, I have been tweaking and screaming just like AHFHHEYOGRROSKAJWKVI I can't.
