Question: Is the rule still that 50% or more of the book should be set in the country we claim?
Answer: Yes. If a book's location is set in more than one place, it must be 50% or more in the location you want to use for the challenge.

Question: Does it include countries where the author was born?
Answer: Not necessarily. We are looking for SETTINGS not author's nationalities. So it's ONLY the location where the story is set that counts.

Teri - here's your answers :
1. If a book's location is set in more than one place, it must be 50% or more in the location you want to use for the challenge.
2. We are looking for settings not author's nationalities. So it's ONLY the location that counts.

Jan | 20751 comments Great job Kim! I just want to confirm that The Berry Pickers spends a good portion of the book in Nova Scotia. It looks like Maine is the prime location.

Jan | 20751 comments Great job Lynda! However, your North America book really shouldn't be in the US, since that is your home country. Have you read anything set is Canada or the Caribbean you can swap out??

That's great Teri! I love finding new authors that "speak my language". They are getting harder and harder to find in today's new literature.
