People who have been chosen by to destiny fight for the continued existence of their ethnic group. This is organized by some supernatural beings with obscure planet names. During the fight, two representatives, a boy and a girl fall in love. The boy has gems imbedded in his teeth. He is from a Latin American group. The girl is from (I think) US group. California maybe?
