Carl, We had this set up for October last year and I never got a chance to read it, but I believe Brittni did. I'll join in and read it with you now though.

Sounds good to me, and I think so long as you finish the book by the end of the challenge (in this case I think the end of the month) and contribute 4 posts to the buddy read (I'm pretty sure that's the number) it doesn't matter if it's right in the thick of everyone else. I'll definitely come back and chat to you about the book when you're reading it.

It's a case of buses - I had this and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil come in at the same time from the library (unplanned), so I'm trying to start both! If we set the buddy to start today I'll get to each one when I can? Sorry, I feel so disorganised!

Oh, I just started reading the second in the Emily Wilde series today with another group, but I think my brain would explode trying to handle two buddy reads on two different groups at the same time T-T. But, if you happen to finish the first two, I might be able to do the third one sometime in August or early September--let me get back to you on that.
