I'm so excited to read this! I love Con Riley and I love Glynn Harbor School! Have you read books from this series before?

I have not. I recently got the first one in the series on a "Stuff Your Kindle Day", but haven't read it yet. Should I read that one first?

I thought I have read a Con Riley book before, but Goodreads doesn't show that I have....

I don’t know. They are so interlocked, but they also pretty much stand alone. The 2 MCs are totally new, but there will be side characters. Check out the reviews and ask me and especially Amanda, who’s on theARC team.

Ok. I asked her. I was just going to start, but I'll probably do "Champagne Charade" first since its so short.

I’ve just started. It’s very fanciful, but the mysterious backstory stuff—who they are and what they’re doing—isn’t because of the series, just the way she writes. It’s kind of like a fairytale?

I meant the writing style, not the story… like sweet but kind of mysterious.

I’m about halfway through and it’s just such a warm and fuzzy book. With surprisingly hot sex. And yes, this is the queerest boarding school in Cornwall.

I'm just in Chapter 1. Getting a little confused with all the names being thrown around, but I think Hayden just met the love interest of the book....but I don't have a name yet.

I like the writing style so far so that's good.

I can tell based on the meeting with the headmaster that these kids are going to pull at my heartstring....I haven't even met them yet.

The kids are the BEST--these books are just non-stop with the cute kids and hunky caring men and overcoming trauma but never trauma porn.

I love Con Riley!!!

I looked at some of their older books and now recognize a lot of the names. I may need to do a massive Con Riley backlist read this year.

The Learning to Love series, despite the kind of precious title, is fantastic--I think all of those books were at least 3.5 stars and I've read several of the more than once. Same for the His series, which connects with them. I also really, really love True Brit--it's good for when you need a musician book.

I'm kinda sad that Hayden doesn't seem to have faith in himself. I can't wait to find out why.

Also what Rae has. Sounds like BiPolar to me, but I don't know enough to know for sure.

I think it's ADHD. Takes one to know one! But Hayden has really been let down by someone along the line (not a spoiler--haven't read all day).

I think the first of the His series is just okay but the latter two are fantastic and lead into the Learning to Love series perfectly. I think Con's descriptions are really what does it, very much transports you

Ch 9. Rae's back!

I think you’re going to need to read all the books! And whilst I agree that the first of the His books is weak (and I’m not crazy about the age gap second), the whole world is fantastic.

Okay—cried through chapter 17. This is really good.

I might get another hour in tonight, but probably won't post til the AM. I'm 47% and in Chapter 12.

OK. I caved and that last half went by super fast.

While I didn't cry in Ch 17, I did have all the feels. Hayden takes so much on himself and the guilt that he feels. Concussions are a serious thing and those team doctors and coaches.

I love the Stepmum, Kirsty. She's great.

And I loved Rae from the start, but the way he works with his ADHD is great. Knowing what he needs to get through his deadlines and doing Almost what he needs can't be easy.

I now have to go back and read the rest of the stories. So good.

I also caved and finished! I thought it wrapped up a little quickly, but I’m glad everyone got what they deserved. And I’m so glad you discovered the magic of Glynn Harbor!

I did love Aleksander showing up and making mushrooms (and Rae not poisoning them both) and it was a neat coincidence he was Olek.

I did appreciate that too. He was a good old guy to help him out.
