Sebastian Trapp, a dying mystery writer whose wife and son vanished 20 years ago, hires a biographer.....a writer interested in the old mystery.
Good suspense novel, but a bit slow-moving. 3.5 stars

It is a historical fiction mystery set in 1948, with dual plot lines in Canada and Mexico. I recommend it to fans of the series and historical fiction/mystery fans. My 4 star review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

4 stars Read as an ARC. NetGalley.
Intriguing mix of history, archaeology, and high-stakes adventure, somewhat of a cross between an Indiana Jones adventure and the Da Vinci Code.

It is an autobiography that is at times both sad and funny. My 4.5 star review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

This multigenerational tale focuses on Alberto Cohen and his descendants, a family of Sephardic Jews whose lives were buffeted by the events of their time. The novel is based on the author's real-life ancestors.
Very good book. 4 stars

If you have no problem with a lot of violence, abuse and alcohol, and above all a very strange story, then please ignore my review 🤐.

A husband-and-wife team of private detectives trying to solve a murder encounter a husband-and-wife team of hired killers. Both couples soon meet a vicious gang of European jewel thieves. Very complex and entertaining plot with memorable characters and lots of action. I liked it a lot -- 4 stars. I'm a real fan of Perry's work.

Mamur Zept #2. Cairo, Egypt circa 1905. There's a murder to solve and religious rioting to prevent. Lots to keep the Mamur Zept busy. A great many moving parts to remember and keep straight and I had a bit of trouble with all the Egyptian names so 3 stars for this one. FYI the Mamur Zept is the head of the British secret police.
