James Best (jamesbest) | 299 comments Now starting SILVER (2019) by Chris Hammer, the second novel in his trilogy featuring Australian journalist Martin Scarsden.

I read the first novel in the trilogy (SCRUBLANDS) last year and really liked it. But the author's stuff is normally published either Down Under or in the U.K. with limited distribution here in the U.S. It took me a while to track down a paperback copy of the sequel.

Donne | 176 comments I just recently finished a couple of really good crime thrillers and murder mysteries. This one took place in a wild animal sanctuary. There was one pretty scary scene of ziplining over a bunch of wild animals.

Ambush (Sanctuary #1) by Colleen Coble - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

This one was a great find about a Sheriff in a small NV town with a dark past.
