Araych | 677 comments Reversible Error Reversible Error (Butch Karp, #4) by Robert K. Tanenbaum by Robert Tanenbaum

Burch Karp #4. Actually ghost written by Michael Gruber. Lots of crime is getting done but the big issue here is that apparently some rogue cops are killing drug dealers for money. Also Marlene is pregnant. I like the series and this one is enjoyable with lots of action. 3 stars.

James Best (jamesbest) | 299 comments Now starting MOSCOW EXILE by John Lawton, the latest book in his (hopefully) ongoing series featuring ex-burglar, former smuggler, and MI-6 spy John Wilderness.

This one has strong ties with Lawton's other mystery/thriller series featuring Scotland Yard inspector Frederick Troy. There hasn't been any sign of Joe so far after 60+ pages, but I can't complain about the results.

PattyMacDotComma | 922 comments I recently re-read a favourite first book in a series for a group read - it was a nice excuse to revisit Sebastian St Cyr, Viscount Devlin, in London in 1811. He's accused of murder, so while dodging the police, he puts his army intelligence experience to good use to find the villain and save himself.

Perfect blend of history and mystery.

I am just about to start book #3 in Anthony Horowitz's Atticus Pund/Susan Ryeland Marble Hall Murders series. After that, it's probably going to be The Labyrinth House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji. I also got tired of piecemeal buying one book at a time in the Slough House series, so I bit the bullet and bought them all. Now for the series to get going again ...
