The Dentist
by Tim SullivanVery fine English mystery featuring DS Cross who has Asperger's Syndrome. Plot, characters, dialogue all first rate. This is the first in the DS Cross series -- I'll continue with the series. 4 stars.

A Blind Goddess
by James R. BennBilly Boyle #8. Billy is tasked to solve a child abduction in an English village and becomes entangled in the terrible racism faced by Black U.S. soldiers. Good book but not the best in the series -- 3.5 stars.

I just finished "Mr. Monk Goes to the Firehouse". Really enjoyed this series and used to watch the television series when it was on. Not sure if they still do reruns but I enjoyed the show as well.
Another wonderful installment of the Porter Beck series by Bruce Borgos. It had it all; humorous dialogue, intense and scary scenes, tear-jerking moments of both sad and happy tears. LOVED IT!!!
