Very fine English mystery featuring DS Cross who has Asperger's Syndrome. Plot, characters, dialogue all first rate. This is the first in the DS Cross series -- I'll continue with the series. 4 stars.

Finally got around to In the Woods by Tana French. What a remarkable first novel. The depth of characterization, the narrative complexity, the psychological complexity, the sense of place and time and history, the ease of reading such fluid prose ... I'm in awe of someone able to orchestrate all this the first time out.

Donne | 176 comments Another wonderful installment of the Porter Beck series by Bruce Borgos. It had it all; humorous dialogue, intense and scary scenes, tear-jerking moments of both sad and happy tears. LOVED IT!!!
