I'm speechless: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

The divorce battle between Sarah Morgan and her husband Bob leads to vindictiveness and worse while people are getting killed and disappearing.
You wouldn't want to contend with either of these two fiends. 3.5 stars

Amy wrote: "Just finishing The Golem from Gustav Meyrink. Really dark dreamy novel with touches of esotericism. Have you heard about it?"
It's been on my TBR for decades.

Very fine English mystery featuring DS Cross who has Asperger's Syndrome. Plot, characters, dialogue all first rate. This is the first in the DS Cross series -- I'll continue with the series. 4 stars.

Twenty years after a serial killer murdered five children, and was caught, the crimes seem to be starting again.
Sort of a horror/mystery meld. 3.5 stars

I’m really enjoying this series as well.

In this first 'Golden Girls' mystery, Rose plans a wedding for her cousin, and the ladies investigate a murder.
Fun book, especially for fans of the show - The Golden Girls. 3.5 stars

Billy Boyle #8. Billy is tasked to solve a child abduction in an English village and becomes entangled in the terrible racism faced by Black U.S. soldiers. Good book but not the best in the series -- 3.5 stars.

In this sequel to The Plot, a successful author's widow pens a novel herself. She shouldn't have written a best-seller that put her in the public eye though!!
Good thriller. 4 stars

Finally got around to In the Woods by Tana French. What a remarkable first novel. The depth of characterization, the narrative complexity, the psychological complexity, the sense of place and time and history, the ease of reading such fluid prose ... I'm in awe of someone able to orchestrate all this the first time out.
