Just starting Strange Pictures by Japanese author Uketsu. I have a feeling this will be good, but it's still very early days. Also reading Native Son by Richard Wright.

Profile K by Helen Sarah Fields

Since this book was originally published in 2024, and I read the Kindle version that's due to be published in April 2025, there is not much that I can add to the numerous already glowing reviews here on GR.

It's great, it's surprising, it fully deserves five stars.

Donne | 176 comments One of my 2025 reading goals was to spend more time catching up with my fave characters and series. It's been a really fun month of reading as well as some emotional ones too. The last three reads left me teary eyed with a lump in my throat.

A Long Time Gone (Ben Packard, #3) by Joshua Moehling -https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

He Will Find You (Maddie Ives, #3) by Charlie Gallagher - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Nemesis (Orphan X, #10) by Gregg Hurwitz - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Then there's Dez and Chet!!! Words alone can't do them justice, you just have to experiece them!

Chain Reaction (Dez Limerick, #3) by James Byrne - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

A Farewell to Arfs (Chet and Bernie Mystery, #15) by Spencer Quinn -https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

And finally, an end to a good trilogy that I have enjoyed. Maldonado is a good writer and storyteller. I will continue to check out her work.

A Killer's Code (Daniela Vega, #3) by Isabella Maldonado - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

PattyMacDotComma | 922 comments Neil Gaiman has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons (for him, that is), and Goodreads disallowed posting of this review for a couple of weeks. Presumably the trolling (or whatever) has died down, because I was able to post it today.
Coraline by Neil Gaiman Coraline is a bright, inquisitive young girl living in a house that has another magical half with what appears to be another family - hers?! Spooky story for kids and an enjoyable read for adults.
