Donne | 176 comments Still catching up on some relatively new series. Good grief!! This sequel has Miss Kitty up to her old tricks again of killing despicable men, after she "falls off the wagon" of trying to stop killing despicable men.

I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin by Katy Brent - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

This was another sequel that left me with moist eyes and a lump in my throat. I can get so invested in my fave characters fate.

A Slash of Emerald (Dr. Julia Lewis Mystery, #2) by Patrice McDonough - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

OMG!!! Casey has always been a bit of a bad@$$, but this third installement to Armstrong's Rockton spin-off has Casey is such a predicament that no pregnant woman wants to be in. Crazy!!!

Bunty Kher (buntykher) | 1 comments Hi All,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out to distribute my debut crime thriller novel, Time Glitch, for an honest review by readers in group.

Time Glitch is a suspense-driven crime novel that explores the intersection of technology, ambition, and morality. It delves into a world where power isn’t always in the hands of the righteous, and survival often demands bending the rules. Crafted for readers who enjoy intricate storytelling, high-stakes deception, and mind-bending twists, the book offers a gripping narrative that challenges perceptions of justice and control.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to have Time Glitch reviewed by anyone, if it aligns with your interests, I’d be happy to provide an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) in digital format at your convenience.

Please let me know if you require any additional details. I truly value your time and consideration, and I look forward to your response.

Thanks,
Bunty Kher

Araych | 677 comments Lehrter Station Lehrter Station (John Russell, #5) by David Downing by David Downing

John Russell #5..... It is 1945 and the war has been over for only 6 months. Russell and Effi have survived the war. They're in England but Russell's Russian spy pals have not forgotten him and send him back to Berlin where, while looking for lost friends and relatives, he must deal with the English, the Americans and various Russian spy factions. This is another wonderfully atmospheric spy adventure by Downing. My only caveat is that Russell and Effi seem to be remarkably successful in finding lost/missing friends and relatives. But overall the book's a winner -- 4 stars.

Collin Brandon | 3 comments I just recently came across a book that one of my students shared with me. The name of the book is "Mind Games" by Landon Prosser. Apparently this author is starting a series in the psychological thriller genre.

Mind Games by Landon Prosser
Landon Prosser

In a nutshell: In a home scarred by past trauma and haunted by a mind-bending villain who can twist memories, a mother and daughter stand on the brink of another battle—this time armed with an unbreakable bond and a secret power that may be their only chance at survival.

I think if you go to Kindle you can download it, but I think you can get it cheaper on other sites. If anyone else has read it, or reads it..... let me know your thoughts.

Finally able to catch up -- it's been a strange week. My husband had the first of two surgeries (the next likely in two weeks) so goodreads just hasn't been at the forefront of my brain lately.

I did finish Strange Pictures by Uketsu and the first say 2/3 kept me turning pages. By the last story, my attention started to wane, waiting for the characters to catch up with what I already knew. I will say that it's a puzzler.

Also finished reading Dead Lions by Mick Herron; not quite as enjoyable as Slow Horses but still very good. I'm also watching season 2 of the series based on Dead Lions on Apple TV. I'll be starting Real Tigers during my husband's next hospital stay.

about to start reading Vantage Point by Sara Sligar.
