I enjoyed Lee Child's move to an international spy thriller in his recent short story, Eleven Numbers. Clever and entertaining with a problem even Reacher couldn't have solved.

Now starting THE QUIET LIBRARIAN by Allen Eskens, his latest hardcover release set in modern day Minnesota but with a character whose earlier life put her in the middle of the Bosnian War during the mid 90's.

by Stephen SpotswoodPentecost and Parker #5. New York, 1947. Lillian is in big trouble and it's up to Will to save her. This is the weakest of the series -- very little Lillian; it's almost all Will. A generous 3 stars.
