heather ‧₊˚ ☾. ⋅ | 3 comments Hi all! Start of the new year so I’m curious what books from the past year that you just didn’t like? For me it’s the “7 1/2 Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle” It was recommended and had good reviews but man was it a tough read.

Addison :) | 39 comments The book “ what did you do “ by Jeneane O'Riley. I was already iffy about the first book, but oh boy was this book something. I was not a fan , and ended up DNF-ing it . I won’t be reading the final book in the series, which is disappointing because I wanted to love it so bad but I just couldn’t 😭

Amanda | 50 comments Hot takes but

1. The Witch Collector - I tried reading twice and finished the book the second time but had no real connection to the characters or the story.

2. A Fate Inked in Blood - probably one of the worst romantasy books I read of the year? Made it less than halfway through. Was so disappointed because I LOVE the author’s other series The Bridge Kingdom.

Shekinah House | 2 comments Honestly - When the Moon Hatched. I can appreciate the writing was beautiful, but I really didn’t connect with the FMC at all and it just felt confusing, the world building and plot was so distracting from the story!

The witch Walker series is my absolute roman empire ! It's in my top 3? I get why you say this about the first book though, I was struggling a little bit as well. But OMG the second and the novella, absolutely amazing. If you ever gonna try it again just push trough the first one and enjoy the second book.

Tamara | 17 comments Honestly, ( i think people might hate me for this ), but Quicksilver from Callie Hart. But maybe because I read this book after I finished an amazing series and I was in such a reading slump OMG. Maybe I will re-read this one at some point? but this time I just couldn't connect to this story and the characters

Cheyenne Keezel | 5 comments For me it’s the FBAA series… I know, the horror. I was hooked for the first 3 books and then the fourth just kind of dragged for me. However, I do intend to read the fifth one at some point. It just didn’t keep me hooked and almost put me into a slump. All this to say though, I don’t dislike the overall plot or the characters. I think my mistake may have been reading it after TOG & Fourth wing back to back.

I found this book pretty boring too.

kileigh♡✧ (kiileiigh) Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber - it was awful. It makes me not want to read Caraval

I've read both. Didn't like OUABH, but I loved Caraval, so I'd say still give it a try.
