Regency romance novels are typically set during the Regency Era in England (1795–1837) and focus on the societal norms of that time. Think balls, walks on the promenade, and marriages with much ado.

Examples: The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After and Arabella.

I read The Alienist because it was on a Regency list in Goodreads but I don't think it qualifies since it was set in the right time period but it was in New York.
