I have read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by Victoria E. Schwab. And I loved it, although it was difficult for me to get through half of the book.
People say Babel by R. F. Kuang is great too, but I haven´t read it yet.
Heartless by Marissa Meyer is a standalone too (I believe)
