Mim | 40 comments Married to magic series by Elise Kova. Each book can be read as standalone. So you can pick just one to read.

Sorcery of Thorns
both by Margaret Rogerson

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by Victoria E. Schwab

Rocío García | 28 comments I have read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by Victoria E. Schwab. And I loved it, although it was difficult for me to get through half of the book.
People say Babel by R. F. Kuang is great too, but I haven´t read it yet.
Heartless by Marissa Meyer is a standalone too (I believe)

Soft Nectarine ~ | 487 comments Some great recommendations here already!

1. One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig (unique magic system, gothic mystery, duology) *No. 1 recommendation

2. A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle Jensen (Norse mythology, female rage, incomplete series)

3. The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni (romantasy with high stakes survival game but a dash of romance, strong female lead, complete series)

4. The Spellshop by Sarah B. Durst (cozy cottage core romantasy but not much plot, you will like it if you enjoy cozy gaming)

5. Married to Magic series by Elisa Kova (5 standalones with unique magical systems, HIGH fantasy but also high emotions, spec. recommend #1, 2, 5)

Tress of the emerald sea
The spear cuts through water (I have never read anything so confusing and amazingly weird but great)
