All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, takes place during WWII. I had to read this book for class and loved it so much.

I agree with Memoirs of a Geisha. It was a really beautiful book in my opinion.

I am also not sure who like to read about tornados but, Mercy of the Sky by Holly Bailey is one of my favorite books.
