Inside Out & Back Again
question
is this not the most aesthetic book to read?
I'de like to state my side; it all comes down to my personal emotions with the book, how she finds meaning and how she finds herself.
I really enjoyed her take on feeling as though her life could have been better if only for the circumstances. In this case it was the war that separted her and her dad. Sometimes in life there are moments where its not in your hands what you are dealt and her reflection of how important family is in times of trouble are very just as important as perseverance. She not only had to relive those emotions of feeling like this was yet again in a new territory, even when she arrived in America as a refuge. However, I love that it didn't strip her of her values and what she knew was important. I actually believe she was greatful and found it as a lesson. That sometimes we have to feel inside out and back again to realise that what we needed was ourselves all along and that no matter the circumstance, we are always learning and reinventing ourselves. There will be no point in her life where nothings new but that doesn't matter because she knows what is constant and important to her;
family.
