Stitches by David Small I just can't write a synopsis for this book, nor can I use the one on Goodreads. This book sent me on an emotional roller-coaster ride. Very few words used but when they were used, they complemented the drawings to the point that you feel like you are setting Infront of the Author while turning the pages. Very raw, heartfelt and blunt story of self-centered parents that numb to world to deal with their secrets and pain which effected and past on pain to their own kids. I found a couple of places in the story deeply troubling. The lack of quick response to growth on a child neck and treatment after David had his surgery shows the deeps of how self-centered David's parents truly were. I found the way David Small decided to present his story to be a masterpiece, showing casing his talent and survival instincts.
