I'm ready to start this when you are.

Started.

So far there hasn't been much background on Tanner's ex relationship. Sounds like they just grew apart, and close proximity 24/7 caused them to argue. Probably a good thing. If they hadn't been in each others pocket at work, their relationship might have dragged out long after it should have ended.

But Zander's current boyfriends a jerk. To controlling.

At the very start, I was afraid this was gonna have cheating. So far there hasn't been. I hope Zander ends it before anything happens with Tanner.

Actually, more so I hope he ends it before he ends up in a hospital.

Probably going to be nearer 18th when we read this one Skye..its not working with other challenges 😄

I'll probably start this on Monday. It works for my spell word this week.

Yeah. We read when we can and we try to read at the same time, but we always come back for conversation about what we are reading.

I'm glad there was no cheating.
The story focus was building the friendship between Tanner and Zander.
Paul was a douche, and I was half expecting there to be a big climatic moment when Paul hunted him down after. I'm glad it didn't have that violent over the top clash. I think it would have changed the feeling of the book.
I really liked them building up the friendship.

Somehow it was sweet, while dealing with an abusive relationship, while not going overboard and becoming dark.

I didnt really read the blurb for this tbh . I tend to look at Lisas choices ( usually more my type) check the pg count and go with it 😄

So i didnt realise there were kids 😁😁 love books with kids

Zander is such a sweetheart , he def needs a white knight to come charging in to save him

Had dodgy interent all day so not ablento post but i did finish it but was at point where Tanner had a go atnPaul by shops and thought " im sure ive read this before . So not entirely sure , that or read a similar one .

Really.enjoyed this apart from a few moments that Tanner said he'd back off ( from telling Zander to leave Paul) then few days later he was at it again.

It was quite sweet really and su h a pleasure to read after Orientation yesterday

Just started this and already I remember why I like the way Nicky James writes.

this paul guy does not sound cool...at all. Tanner seems fun and Zander seems super sweet, but a bit...shy isn't the right word, maybe reserved? only on ch 5

Having not been in an abusive relationship, I would imagine this is a fairly decent description of what happens. Ugh. I hate when people can't see their worth and its worse when that is caused by someone who is supposed to love you. I really dislike Paul.

Up to Ch 11.

Tanner confronting Paul...I don't see this ending well for Zander....and therefor Tanner.

It must be so hard though to keep yourself out of it , even more so with his feelings for Zander

I would imagine that would be hard. Zander doesn't see a way out and Paul made it that way on purpose. Ugh. Makes me want to hug my hubby, but he's on a trip right now. He's never made me feel less than in our entire relationship.

I'm done. That was good. I really enjoyed it.
