I'm hoping to finish my reread of The Poppy War by the end of the month so I can start February with a fresh new story where I don't know what happens next.

I separate my unread books from my read books at the moment, and I've used this system for about a year I think? I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to move a book to my "read" shelves! It's so motivating to see your unread bookshelves emptying and your read bookshelves filling in, especially when you're getting to books that are part of a series. Physically seeing what I'm dealing with is a great help to keeping myself accountable, too :) I'll also be moving, hopefully this spring, and I'm debating whether I want to keep this system then or not. I'm leaning towards yes🤓

The Poppy War! I'm planning on getting to this one (finally!) this year as well, maybe in March? I got halfway through it last year before I fell into a slump, so I need to give it another attempt. I aim to finish the series before Katabasis comes out this autumn👀 Happy reading!

I am also really trying to finish series that I started. I have a really bad habit of stopping in the middle 🫣

I hope you enjoy and like the series! I am looking forward to Katabasis, so I want to finish her series & Babel before it releases as well!
I had a bit of a slow start to the year, and I've been travelling overseas the whole month. So I wasn't sure I'd be able to read much but luckily I have found some digital versions of books I own so I am still making progress, I think around half the books I've read this month I own physical copies of. I was saving my Japanese translated fiction and some other Japan related books for the trip but I'm also loving Daisy Haites: The Great Undoing!!
I am looking forward to getting home next month because we're moving so I need to reorganise my bookshelves and I'm considering separating my unread from my read books, do any of you do that?
Overall I'm happy with how January has been going all things considering, I've read less than in previous Januaries but I am trying to enjoy being out and exploring and not get too stressed about reading goals this year. I've set my overall goal to 100 and my TBR Zero goal to 50.
PS check out the Challenges section in the group to set your own Physical TBR goal!!
