John Crowell

Not a well-known name but his career is a whirlwind of anecdote

Bruce He did direct some good films, including one of the best Lincoln films. His versions of Tom Sawyer, and Of Human Bondage were good as well.

I believe one of his relatives is in the film business too. Hahahaha! 😹

Jill Hutchinson (bucs1960) | 3876 comments If I'm not mistaken, he also directed Caged (1950) with Eleanor Parker in a really different role for her. And the ending was terrific.
