Trek 4: 3,612 miles
Total Mileage: 35233
Times around Earth: 1.41
Ok campers, BIG HIKE has had many challenges, many obstacles, and many difficulties for you, but you have overcome them with the power of friendship and obstinancy. You will once again use those skills to cross Big Bridge. Yes, it still counts as a bridge if it's just a couple ropes precariously tied over the river. It bridges the gap, doesn't it? Campers who are afraid of heights may close their eyes and shriek as needed. Just don't let go of the rope, I don't have enough safety harnesses for all of you.

(and for the record, I will shriek, close my eyes and hang on with a death grip, even if I DO have a harness!!)
Trek 5: 10675 miles
Total Mileage: 45908 miles
Times around Earth: 1.84
Great work campers! We have reached BIG HIKE's penultimate stop, Base Camp of B.I.G Mountain. It stands for "beginner-intermediate groups" because someone on AllTrails thinks they're funny. Does everyone still have their buddy? Great, because in your uniforms you all look the same. I mean...Let's fill up our water bottles! And be sure to get a good night's sleep. The hike to the top is long, exhausting, and character-building.
Note: As the readathon ends tonight whenever you go to bed, the final sum of miles and the end of the story will go up tomorrow evening.
