Play Book Tag discussion

This is one of See's books that I have meant to read for awhile, and I have enjoyed a few of her other books; however, I think that Snowflower and the Secret Fan just fell a little flat for me, and I was expecting it to just grab my attention more because it's a book that has gotten such high praise from so many of my friends.

I really think that if I had read it shortly after it was published when everyone was reading it I might have liked it better. I may have had my expectations built up so much that it was just bound to be a little bit of a let down.
