Forthcoming books for November!

That would be Immediate buys for me:
R. M. Meluch's Strength and Honor A Novel of The U.S.S. Merrimack. I absolutely love this space opera series - with its startling little twists and turns, and a quantum basis. The characters are drawn huge, the action is unrelenting, and I always get shouts of laughter...this series is far more tongue in cheek, for this author, who can write and be deadly serious and thought provocative - but here she's produced three of my most fun light reads. I look forward to the new one. Captain Farragut is a trip!
The other immediate buy, to hang onto for a tranquil moment - Juliet Marillier's Heart's Blood, which title unfortunately is shared by a prior release by Jane Yolen.
I'll get the Juliet McKenna title too, as I rather enjoyed the first in that series, though the ending stung lots, I'd like to see where she takes it. There are a few others I might bob for, but I've got unread books by those authors on the shelf to tackle, first.
I read a great deal, but my hot-list is selectively short.

Well, I won't rush out and buy any, but the ones that will go on my list to watch for, ask for, buy when I get a gift card, etc., include the books on the list by:
Baker, Butcher, Card, Chadbourn, Kerr, Marillier, and McDevitt.

It really adds to the book--other people see things that I miss and the exchange of perspectives and the noticing of details enhances the enjoyment for me!

Definitely! That's one of the reasons why I enjoy keeping the group going - it really does enhance the reading experience. It's a shame I didn't get the chance to read next month's books.
