Robert Zwilling | 2911 comments There is no free lunch is a very important statement. Because all life exists in a relationship of mutual dependence, I believe that all living entities play an active role in replenishing life on Earth. Nothing living is just existing, it all has a job to do. When some life disappears, the work done by that life can go undone if there is nothing to step in to fill the gaps. As more life disappears, jobs start to go undone, which negatively impacts successful replenishment of the Natural World's resources that life requires.
