Born in April of 1889, Brittish great Charlie Chaplin took the theater world by storm at a young age, partly out of necessity to survive. Even those who have never watched his performances often know his name and can recognize his image due to how iconic he became over time. He spent much time working creatively and living in the USA. His political ideologies in the aftermath of WWII changed the trajectory of this life, though, and he spent the remainder of his life in Europe.
