Vanessa (auphelia) | 5 comments Hello! My teen desperately needs some YA fantasy/high fantasy and we are running out of ideas. I could list what he’s read but it would be easier to just give me your suggestions and I’ll figure that part out later. His biggest ask is that it is clean. No mention of intimacy or intimate acts. Thank you so much for helping my kiddo!

There is a list of books that supposedly don't have romance. I hope there are some they haven't read!!!!

Terry Birdgenaw | 9 comments Check out The Antunite Chronicles if you are into award-winning allegories with Goodreads ratings 4.5 or above. The first two are very clean on the romance level, and as allegories the violence is easier to take. Comparisons have been made to Watership Down and Animal Farm.

100000% Percy Jackson series, and then if he likes them, Heroes of Olympus, and Trials of Apollo

With my whole heart, I recommend Kingdom of Wandering Souls by Lizzie Darcie on amazon. It is SOOO underrated, I've never heard anyone talk about it before but it is SOOO damn good!! It's a historical fiction, completely clean, YA, and slow burn romance!
