Do you usually read multiple books at once or one at a time, and why?

To answer my own question, recently I have taken an interest in reading multiple books at a time. It erases the pressure I feel to rush through one book, and I can enjoy others simultaneously.

One at a time. I’m forgetful and will forget the story. Plus it gives me to much anxiety reading multiple things and always in order to I can’t ready different interconnected series at random always in order.
sometimes I feel like reading multiple books at once, especially when I’m in a reading slump. But most of the time I stick to just one because it helps me focus better and really get into the details. When I try to read more than one, I usually end up getting confused or mixing things up
always 3 or more at a time because i'm a mood reader so i like to have different vibes to choose from!
I don’t usually read more than one book at a time—but when I’m tired or mentally drained, things get a little chaotic. The urge to read doesn’t go away, it just shifts. I’ll find myself starting a couple books, bouncing between them, and still hunting down new ones like I’m on a mission. I swear, sometimes I spend more time scouting books than actually reading them. But once I latch onto one? It’s game over.It might sound all over the place, but that’s honestly part of the fun for me—finding that one story that grabs me by the throat. And until I do, I’ll keep sniffing around like a book bloodhound.
I'm usually always reading at least 2 - one physical and one audio. Yesterday, I was reading a total of 4. I had a physical arc, a book on my kindle, my audiobook, and my book for school.

I read a bunch of books at a time. The reason is because I sometimes will get bored with a plot and just need to take a break from that specific book. I also do this because sometimes plot twists can come up and also make me need to step back for a little while.
