2025 Thriller Book Club - CHV Debut discussion

Let’s go! I can’t believe we are already 5 months into 2025.

Rock Paper Scissors is the next on the list! I can’t wait to get started on this psychological thriller.

Going to plug in my kindle and get started on this tonight!

Just finished!!! Omg!!! That was SO good and so fun. Kept me guessing the entire time and it was shocking. Loved!!

Okay! I just picked it up from the library ! Here goes!

Okay… so maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I did not like this book at all!!

I found the book kind of boring. I didn’t find myself engaged with the two main characters…I just didn’t like them. I wasn’t rooting for anyone.

Okay yes …the ending was a big twist. Did anyone pick realize that Robin was the author of the diary entries?

Finally got this one from my library!

I don’t know what I think of this one. I did get through it very quickly, but I saw a lot of it coming. Did NOT see that Robin was his ex-wife, but did see she was his daughter, and that his wife had somehow known Henry (that’s when I started to know something was up, but didn’t call what).

Light read, not something I normally would pick up, a nice palette cleanser from what I was reading, but not one I’d recommend heartily. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could.

Late on reading this one. But I liked it. I agree I was bored with the characters in the beginning. I loved the twist. I didn’t see the twist with the new wife at all! I liked the end chapter with the investigator figuring things out.

I just finished reading it. Can anyone tell me what was the point of October’s character? Did i miss something? Why was she introduced at all?

I think October was meant to show that there was tension in their marriage, and perhaps that he was cheating with her. They don’t reveal it, I don’t think, but we’re meant to think Robin might have killed her.
