Alexa | 3 comments this was the book that got me back into reading every day and i’m so grateful for it

Susan Beamon (susanbeamon) | 1 comments I read this book when it first came out. I found it to be very powerful, and slightly scary. I was very glad I did not respond to the world the way the author had, but I think I understood her viewpoint. I do believe I have a review for this book on this website.

I thought this book was very powerful. It is obviously sad and distressing, but it was also well done.

Dana Marie | 16 comments This book was heartbreaking. It she's light on the many ways people deal with grief, heartbreak, rejection, bullying, lack of security/safety... and so much else. I'm glad that the ending wasn't unrealistic but does give a little glimmer of hope.

I also liked that the ending wasn't unrealistic. I would have been frustrated if everything just perfectly fell into place since that wouldn't have really fit the book, but I was also glad that you could see that there was hope for some of the characters to grow and have a better future!
