Robin (robinmy) | 3478 comments I've been in a bit of a reading slump. I just don't feel like reading. I don't think it's the books I'm choosing. The plots and dialogue still keep my interest, but I find myself laying the books down to play a game on my tablet instead. How do you get over a slump?

Michelle | 3258 comments Sorry to hear that.. Me fix for a slump is to reread favourites. Or try to find a new-to-you author. This doesn't always help but it did get m out of my slump inece or twice.

Lieke | 1723 comments Choosing an easy and/or short book (maybe a children´s book) or reread a favorite usually helps for me. Hope you get out of the slump soon and read some good books this month!

Reading slumps are the worst. Both Michelle and Lieke gave you advice that worked for me. Listening to a short story might do the trick. I also put myself on a two-day moratorium from playing games on my tablet. It worked.

Here’s to you being inspired this month, Robin!

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 2090 comments Happy Reading Robin!

A good audiobook helps me out of a slump. I can play games while I listen. Michelle and Lieke ideas work for me. I'm going to put myself on moriturium too. I'm spending way too much time playing games.

I'm with you on that Robin. I'm also in a bit of a slump. Nothing is really grabbing me even authors I know I love. I'm hoping it passes quickly for both of us!
