Milos R. (serddar) | 5 comments How do I know if the book I suggested is ever going to be added? (Without constantly nagging you all)

Tawnya | 4044 comments Most of will tell you in a comment on your request and give you the direct link for the book. Make sure that you checked the box "Notify me when people comment". Back in September the system made the asinine decision to uncheck everyone's boxes. I tried to go back through my comments and recheck the box, but I quickly realized there were just too many to do.

When you do your request don't forget to list everything that we need, especially a link to the book. If you have access to the book just take a photo of the cover and the publication page. Here is the list in case you need it:

* Title:
* Author(s) name(s):
* ISBN (or ASIN) (Books published prior to 1967 will not have one):
* Publisher:
* Publication Date Year:
* Publication Date Month:
* Publication Date Day:
* Page count:
* Format (such as paperback, hardcover, e-book, audiobook, etc.):
* Description:
* Language (for non-English books):

* Link to book page which includes the cover on a NON-BOOKSELLER site, such as a publisher site, an author site, etc. If linking to a site such as Imgur, Dropbox, etc. please state the original source of the image. No B&N or other bookseller links can be used as sources for covers or other book data, with the exception of Amazon and its subsidiaries. Social media sites are not allowed as well.

Here is a list of some, but not all of the sites that are and are not allowed:
acceptable sources for books and covers
We can always accept a scan of a book you own. We need the cover and the publication page.
