Amazon and World Cat say 528 pages and the publisher says 544 pages.

The number of pages in a book is meant to include all content except for advertisements and preview chapters for other books. Included end material may include acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions.

Do you have the book in hand and can confirm that it is only 513 pages even including acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, indexes, notes, and suggested discussion questions?

Rachel | 446 comments Changed page count to 528 for now unless proof can be given that it is only 513 pages including all of the information listed above.

Robert J McLellan (robmclellan) | 17 comments Hi,
Sorry for the late response.
I have the book and can video or picture this if you wish.

The story finishes on page 505
The last numbered page is 507 (Acknowledgements)

508 BLANK

509 - Stuart Turton on the inspiration behind The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (title page)

510 BLANK

511-512 "It's Doris's fault really. I've got that written on a Post-it note on my wall" (fist lines of content of "Stuart Turton on the inspiration behind The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle"

513 - A NOTE ON THE TYPE

514-518 BLANK

There's no advertisements or preview chapters for other books.
Didn't count pages 514-518 as they are blank but if you think they should be counted then go ahead.

Not even sure you'd include 513 as it's just a paragraph on the typeface used - In case you're wondering it's "Adobe Caslon named after the English punch-cutter and type-founder William Caslon I (1692-1766)" - which includes some interesting facts.
