Oh, oof. I think my math was wrong for JOSHED lol. I thought it was a triple letter score not a triple word. Okay, posted for that now.

message 102: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments All good! Thanks for posting.

Letters: S, B, I, P, E, V, B, M, T, E

Open letters: S, B, I, P, E

message 104: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments I can work on moving some over from the banked.

Also, when picking books I'm trying to save some books that cover letter I think will be trickier in the future, just in case you're wondering why I maybe skipped your book.

We could do PEBBLIEST? C2 - C10? Not sure if that's the highest point word we could do at the moment.

message 106: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
FESTIVE or BEFITS with the F in FULHAM give us the same points. Higher than PEBBLIEST

message 107: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
or KEMPLIEST lol. idk .

message 108: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments BEFITS may be slightly higher? I also may have added them up wrong haha.

Team, I think we have double posted for letters.

Message 48: letters completed—H, V, B, M, E, D, O, J, S, T
Letters used—JOSHED in message 49, leaving letters VBMT
Joud posted for E in message 50

New letters: SBIPE but an E was completed as well. So the new letters were technically SBIPEE. Joud's E in message 50 was counted.

Joud posted for S & E in message 55. Leaving BIP to be open.
Brittni posted for SBPIE in message 56. Only BIP letters were needed.

I'll fix the spreadsheet. Brittni, can you update your post?

message 110: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Yep! No problem. I didn't see Joud's post when I was posting the others.

I've edited my post. Thanks for adding those into the spreadsheet and putting the others back in banked.

Also, Joud, do you mind adding your books to the spreadsheet next time? It helps track what's been posted.

Here's the link to it. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

Sorry for the confusion.

message 111: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Do we want to go ahead with BEFITS?

message 112: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
Hmm, I'm waiting to add that. I saw that 'I' had a different edition than was read and I wasn't sure if any edition could work. I asked Saige in the Q&A to make sure.

message 113: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Ah sounds good! Thanks for asking. Queen of Shadows also has Imogen but she's not very prominent in that book so I wasn't sure if we should use her. Otherwise, we don't have an I.

message 114: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 4247 comments Mod
We can also save Queen of Shadows for the Q when we finally get that letter pulled.

I'm reading an I book now. I'm hoping to have it done later today.

message 115: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Awesome! I can remove that then and we can use Isaiah for the I.

message 116: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 4247 comments Mod
I also forgot that Isaiah is in Caught Up as well and is a very prominent character.

message 117: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Great. I'll post Caught Up then for Isaiah.

Joud - I added your A book to the spreadsheet.

New letters are L, L, A (Joud already took), C & J

message 119: by Betsy (new)

Betsy | 1048 comments Hey guys! Sorry I'm just now catching up to everyone... is "J" still up for grabs? I just finished Illuminae/ author Jay Kristoff... would that be able to be used?

message 120: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 4247 comments Mod
J is still up for grabs! :)

message 121: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments If you want to post for "J" Betsy, I'll pull L, L, and C from the banked now and post them.

message 122: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Nevermind, I just noticed you posted it in banked Betsy. I'll post one for J now and we can make a word!

message 123: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
Saige said any edition counts :)

message 124: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
What word are we posting for?

MACKLE, M3-M8 ?

message 125: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Woohoo! Thanks for the update.

I love it. I'm horrendous at coming up with words and if you feel good about that one then I'm good with it!

New letters: N, A, S, S, G

Total letters: VBJLPNASSG

message 129: by Brittni (last edited Jul 14, 2025 04:57PM) (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments I'm going to go ahead and post for the letters we need from banked. I've posted a couple notes to the far right, noting what books we may want to save for certain letters.

Here are a couple of letters to keep an eye out for when reading or checking your books: U, G, I, X, Z, Q. We either don't have them or they aren't very common it seems.

message 130: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Have all the letters in.

Thinking we should save the J and wait for an H to make HAJJ starting from L4. I think that would get us just over 40 points.

Other than that, which isn't useful for this round, I don't know haha.

message 131: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
Thanks Brittni! If no one suggests anything tonight, I can look tomorrow for something

message 132: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 188 comments Slangs - off the s in Befits
Bang or Bass off the B in befits
Hangs off the H in fulham
Glass - using the L off Fulham
Sylvans off the Y in weighty.

we could do BANGS in E7-I7? We'd get three words out of it: BANGS, FAB, AMA.

message 134: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
or BANGS in L8-L12? We'd get BANGS & BE

message 135: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 4247 comments Mod
Is it better to grab the three words, or just the two? I'm good with either spot to put the word.

message 136: by Alaina (last edited Jul 15, 2025 10:26AM) (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
I think BANGS + BE would give us a few more points if I did the math correctly. 26 pts.

BANGS + FAB + AMA would give us 23 pts.

message 137: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
I'll post for BANGS E7-I7. That way we can save the double word score for more points.

message 138: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Just posted for 2 of the remaining letters for the new set we received.

We now have letters: Q, M, M, I, V, B, P, J, L, G, A, S, S, N

message 139: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
JIMP + MM + PA? L1-L4? I think that gets us over 50 points

message 140: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
I also don't think our completed letters on the spreadsheet are accurate. Since the review thread only shows these letters:

V, P, J, L, S, G, Q, M, M, I

message 141: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
This is what we had before we did BANGS

VBJLPNASSG

Used, BANS

Leftover: VJLPSG

New letters: QMMI

Total letters: VJLPSGQMMI

If we do JIMP, then we would have the following leftover: VLSGQM and we would get 4 new letters.

message 142: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Hm. Interesting. I just pulled the letters off the spreadsheet when I posted them but yes, I think you’re correct. Perhaps we should let Saige know they’re incorrect on there or we can change them ourselves maybe.

I’m good with JIMP!

message 143: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
I updated the completed letters on our spreadsheet. I'll also let her know that I did that when I post for our word.

Anyone else want to chime in on the word? Or should I just post?

All letters: VLSGQMUABU

message 147: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
we could do GUMBALLS for 28 points. C1-C8

OR

JAMB, for 45 points. L1-O1

message 148: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Hm. I like both options. GUMBALLS will perhaps give us more options in the future and we can keep JAMB in mind going forward as I'm guessing we'll get AMB again sooner rather than later.

message 149: by Brittni (new)

Brittni | 1378 comments Hi everyone. I posted everything I could from banked but we need a "U". I've checked all books and the different editions in banked.

Keep an eye out for one!

message 150: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81936 comments Mod
Well, if we want to go with GUMBALLS, we only need one U read for. We don't need to read for all the letters before posting. Just the letters that work for the word we want to post.

Is everyone okay with GUMBALLS? That way we get a lot more letters?
