romantasy: These Twisted Bonds by Lexi Ryan (it's the 2nd book in These Hollow Vows series, there is a love triangle since the first book but in the 2nd there is more yearning in my opinion)

Yearning is such a hard trope to nail down because people normally take the easy route of fated mates/destiny.

Mainstream: One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns. There wasn't a ton of it but I appreciated what was there was well written.

I haven't personally read these but I've heard good things Suddenly Forbidden by Ella Fields and Thornchapel by Sierra Simone

Classic: Wuthering Heights. Heathcliff. The OG unhinged king of yearning.

Any Ann Rice novel.

I can’t speak for the rest of the series as I haven’t read it, but Wild Love by Elsie Silver in the Rose Hill series does!
