So I'm a teacher on summer break! I have a ton of fantasy / romantasy on my TBR but would love recs from other genres like sci-fi, dystopian, gothic, urban fantasy, paranormal, etc. BONUS points if it has spice but the plot needs to be plotting! Thanks lovies

Rose in Chains is the first book that I think of! It's gothic fantasy with romance!
Also, I saw One Dark Window on your tbr (love the wheel btw), and although I loved that book just a heads up that the spice is probably 1 🌶️ out of 5. It is almost entirely plot!

Thank you! I will check it out. I did hear that One Dark Window is low spice and that is more than all right. Spice is more like the cherry on top and not required
